KKRN, 88.5 FM
Local Nonprofit Radio Station coming to Round Mountain

Hill Country is partnering with Acorn Community Enterprises in its purchase of radio frequency 88.5 FM. KKRN will be a locally owned, not-for-profit radio station. Broadcast content will include health education and promotion of community health, and will also provide music, interviews, etc. It will serve as an opportunity for local teens, adults, and seniors to volunteer and gain experience with broadcast media and will serve a vital role in bringing together residents who live in our region, an area larger than the state of Rhode Island.

Hill Country and Acorn are currently fundraising to purchase equipment for the radio station.
